Pickleball is a game similar to tennis, played on a smaller court with paddles and a wiffle ball. Pickleball offers participants a terrific workout and social opportunities. Join in, and see why Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in North America!
Due to the increased participation and popularity of Pickleball in our community and the variety of skill levels of players, we have introduced a court rental system. Court rentals must be approved by Town Staff based on availability. Once approved, payment must be made in full to reserve the court. Please reach out to Jayme Young, at 705-746-2701 x 201 or click here to email Jayme to request your time slot.
Court rentals are welcome to use Town equipment, including balls and paddles, or are welcome to bring their own equipment. We do request that all participants wear indoor shoes on the courts to limit sand/dust which make the courts slippery.
Court rentals are available, first come- first serve under the following schedule:
Tuesdays: 12pm-3pm & 6:30pm-8:30pm
Wednesdays: 1pm-3pm & 7pm-9pm
Thursdays: 1pm-3pm
**Additional days/times may be available upon request. Please reach out to Jayme for availability.
Cost: $15.00 + HST per hour (this cost is inclusive of insurance coverage)

The Town of Parry Sound has partnered with the Alzheimer's Society of Muskoka to offer the Minds in Motion program.
Minds in Motion is a community-based social program that incorporates physical and mental stimulation for people with early to mid-stage Alzheimer's disease or other forms of dementia and their care partners. Through the 8-week Minds in Motion program, both the person living with dementia and their care partner can benefit from the following:
- Increasing physical activity through gentle group exercise.
- Establishing new friendships with others who are living with similar experiences.
- Engaging in fun, social activities.

Despax Quartet
Concert Description
Join Xenia Concerts and Quatuor Despax for a fun, family-friendly, bilingual concert that embraces neurodiversity and disability! In this fun-filled concert, you’ll be introduced to the instruments of the string quartet, and the different personalities of the instruments (and their players). You’ll hear music from across three centuries, including quartets by Chevalier St. George, Emmanuel Despax, Felix Mendelssohn, tango tunes, and pop songs arranged by the performers. You’ll also have plenty of opportunities to move your bodies, ask questions, and meet the musicians – in English et en français!
This concert is designed to welcome members of the neurodiversity and disability communities, their friends, and families, and anyone else who benefits from a relaxed, supportive concert environment.
